Every noodle is rolled in this kitchen before we open.

Elena starts the dough at seven: semolina, eggs from a farm in Denmark, Wisconsin, and a lot of patience. By four the tagliatelle is cut, the ravioli are filled, and the ragù has been going for six hours.

A family kitchen that grew a dining room.

Elena and Marco Ruggeri opened Lume in 2019 with six tables and one pasta machine. It is still their kitchen, and still their family recipes.
